SETUP
1. Move unit to starting point of trench.
2. Move speed/direction control to neutral position.
3. Engage parking brake.
4. Adjust throttle control to half throttle position.
5. Push boom lift control until boom and chain are 1” (25 mm)
above ground surface.

could cause death or serious injury.
Use correct equipment and work
methods. Use and maintain proper
safety equipment.
NOTICE:
• Do not dig within 10’ (3 m) of unexposed electric cables or gas
lines.
• Keep digging boom low when operating on slopes.
• Drive cautiously at all times.
EMERGENCY SHUTDOWN: Release operator presence switch
and turn ignition switch to STOP.
