The kit includes a concentric "Y" fitting that combines the two air streams (intake and exhaust) into a single terminal, which then passes through a single penetration point. - Material Requirements for Extension Pipes: SDR-26 PVC (D2241) is the only material recommended for extending pipes. Schedule 40 PVC or couplings should not be used for extending pipes.
- Pipe and Fittings: Combustion air and vent pipe fittings must conform to ANSI and ASTM standards D1785, F891, D2665, D2241, D2661, or F628.
- Pipe Cement and Primer: Must conform to ASTM standards D2564 or D2235.
- Canadian Requirements: In Canada, all combustion air and vent pipes for this unit must be constructed of CSA or ULC certified Schedule 40 PVC, PVC-DWV, or ABS-DWV pipe and pipe cement.

- Securing strap must be field installed to prevent movement to the termination kit in the sidewall.
