Shutdown of Mower
NOTE: Engine may be stopped at any time by
turning the ignition key to the OFF position.
1. Move steering speed control levers to
neutral position to stop mower movement.
2. Push deck engaging switch (PTO) down to
disengage mower deck blades.
3. Pull parking brake lever all the way up to set
parking brake.
4. Move throttle to the idle position.
5. Allow engine to idle for two minutes.
6. Turn ignition key to the OFF position and
remove key, even if leaving mower
unattended for only a few minutes.
7. Position fuel shut-off valve to the OFF
position.
Shutdown Procedure
Moving the Mower without Power
NOTE: Do not exceed a speed of 2 mph when
moving the mower without power.
If it becomes necessary to move the mower while
not under its own power, the hydraulic pumps are
equipped with bypass valves. Before moving the
unit, turn the 5/8” bypass valve counterclockwise
two turns on each pump.
Always make certain the two bypass valves are
torqued back to 84-120 in-lb before starting the
engine.
