The DKN AM-E is an exercise bike designed for indoor, home use, offering a high-quality, safe, and innovative training experience. It is built to motivate users towards achieving their personal fitness goals.
Function Description
The DKN AM-E exercise bike is equipped with a computer console that allows users to adjust resistance levels, monitor workout data, and select various training programs. The console features a clear LCD display for showing key metrics such as speed, SPM (strokes per minute), watt, load, time, distance, pulse, and calories.
Training Modes:
- Manual Mode: Allows users to manually adjust the load level (32 levels), set exercise time, distance, targeted energy level (watt), calorie consumption, and maximum heart rate.
- Program Mode: Offers 12 pre-set profiles. Users can select a profile and then set target values for time, distance, calories, and pulse. Watt cannot be preset in this mode.
- User Mode: Enables users to create and save their own profiles, with 32 load levels and 20 load segments. Load settings for each segment can be confirmed.
- Target H.R. Mode (Heart Rate Control): Users enter their age and select a target heart rate percentage (55%, 75%, 90%) or a specific THR (Target Heart Rate). The bike automatically adjusts resistance based on the user's current heart rate to maintain the target zone. If the heart rate is below target, resistance increases one level every 30 seconds (up to level 32). If it's above target, resistance decreases one level immediately and continues to decrease every 15 seconds until the target is met.
Console Buttons:
- MODE: Selects functions to be displayed on the main screen.
- ST/STOP: Starts or stops the exercise program.
- RECOVERY: Initiates a 60-second recovery test after exercise. It displays a recovery rate from 1 (fast recovery) to 6 (slow recovery) based on pulse readings from hand sensors or an optional chest strap.
- RESET: Clears the display and resets all data.
- TOTAL RESET: Repowers the display.
- UP/DOWN: Used to select upward/downward functions, adjust values, and navigate menus.
Displayed Metrics:
- Time: Displays exercise duration. Can be set for countdown.
- Distance: Displays distance covered in km. Can be set for countdown.
- Calories: Displays estimated calorie burn. Can be set for countdown.
- Speed: Displays current speed.
- Pulse: Displays heart rate measured via handgrip sensors or an optional chest strap. A stable reading typically takes 30 seconds to one minute.
