8. Seat Belt Reminder Light

Reminds occupants to fasten seat belts; chime sounds if unbuckled.

9. Oil Pressure Warning Light

Indicates low engine oil pressure; stop vehicle and shut off engine if it turns on while driving.

10. Engine Temperature Warning Light

Warns of overheated engine condition; chime sounds after reaching a set threshold.

11. Brake Warning Light

Monitors brake functions including fluid level and parking brake application.

WARNING!

Driving with red brake light on is dangerous; indicates possible brake system failure.

12. Tachometer

Shows permissible engine revolutions-per-minute (RPM x 1000) for each gear range.

13. Shift Lever Indicator

14. Odometer / Trip Odometer Display Area

Message displayed if Ignition Off Draw (IOD) fuse is improperly installed or damaged.

CHAngE OIL

Engine oil change indicator system message; flashes and chimes for next scheduled oil change.

15. Cruise Indicator — If Equipped

Indicates that the Speed Control system is ON.

16. Trip/Odometer Display Reset Button

Resets trip odometer A or B to 0 miles (0 km).

17. Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) Light

Informs of a problem with the Electronic Throttle Control system.

18. Park/Headlight ON Indicator — If Equipped

Illuminates when park lights or headlights are turned on.

20. Turn Signal Indicators

Arrow flashes with exterior turn signal when lever is operated.

21. Vehicle Security Light — If Equipped

Flashes rapidly when alarm is arming, then slowly until disarmed.

22. Electronic Stability Control (ESC) Activation/Malfunction Indicator Light — If Equipped

Indicates ESC activation or malfunction; should go out with engine running.

23. Front Fog Light Indicator — If Equipped

Illuminates when the front fog lights are on.

24. Tire Pressure Monitoring Telltale Light

Illuminates when one or more tires are significantly under-inflated.

Check TPMS Warnings

TPMS light flashes, remains solid, and sounds chime when a system fault is detected.

25. Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL)

Part of onboard diagnostic system monitoring emissions, engine, and transmission.

CAUTION!

Prolonged driving with MIL on can cause damage to emission control system.

26. Anti-Lock Brake (ABS) Light

Monitors ABS system; indicates if Anti-Lock portion is not functioning.

27. Transmission Temperature Warning Light — If Equipped

Warns of automatic transmission oil overheating; vehicle may slow slightly.

CAUTION!

Continuous driving with illuminated light causes severe transmission damage or failure.

WARNING!

Illuminated light may cause fluid to boil over, contact hot engine parts, and cause a fire.

28. High Beam Indicator

Indicates that the high beam headlights are on.

29. Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) Display — If Equipped

Driver-interactive display located in instrument cluster showing EVIC messages.

30. Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) Display Button — If Equipped

Scroll through sub-menus or reset display by pressing EVIC buttons.

Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) — IF EQUIPPED

Features a driver-interactive display in instrument cluster.

EVIC Functions

Lock Doors Automatically at 15 MPH (24 km/h)

Doors lock automatically when vehicle speed reaches 15 mph; select ON or OFF.

Auto Unlock On Exit

All doors unlock when driver's door is opened if vehicle is stopped.

Remote Unlock Driver’s Door 1st

Only driver's door unlocks on first press, requires second press for remaining doors.

Sound Horn with Remote Key Lock

Short horn sound occurs when RKE transmitter LOCK button is pressed; feature can be turned ON/OFF.
