Mounting rails for
roof racks
Details and Technology
Two recessed longitudinal stainless steel C-rails are bolted to the roof. Maximum roof load (including
basic carrier bars) is 50 kilograms (110 pounds) per crossbar. Maximum roof load for the Standard Roof
is 300 kilograms (660 pounds) (six crossbars) and 150 kilograms (330 pounds) for the High Roof (three
crossbars).
Benefits and Arguments
• Allows roof carriers to be fitted
The roof rails allow roof racks, roof boxes and other accessories to be fitted.
Remarks
Roof rails are standard on Cargo Vans. The roof rails are optional and can be retrofitted on Passenger
Vans. Roof rails are not available on Mega Roof.
