The following minimum distances shown in the sketch must always be observed when
installing the appliance.
a: The minimum distance (a) between the burner edge and side moveable walls made
of flammable materials is 200 mm. If a flame guard is used, the distance between it
and the side moveable wall must be at least 3 mm. In that event, the minimum
distance between the burner edge and the moveable wall is 100 mm. In respect of
the COE appliance, the glass burner cover is considered to be a rear flame guard
when raised.
b: The minimum distance between the cooker and flammable fittings above it (wall
cabinets etc.) is b = 500 mm.
DO NOT INSTALL THE APPLIANCE NEAR HIGHLY FLAMMABLE
MATERIALS.
