9 Troubleshooting
If you are unable to solve a problem yourself, get in touch with customer
services (see address list overleaf)
Problem Possible cause Remedy
Appliance does not work Appliance is not connected to a
power supply
Connect the appliance
Appliance is switched off Switch on the appliance
Circuit breaker or fuse has blown Switch on circuit breaker or
replace fuse
Appliance is not cold
enough
Temperature is not set properly Check the set temperature
The ambient temperature could
require a higher temperature set-
ting
Set a higher temperature
Door was opened frequently Do not open the door more
often than necessary
Door was not closed properly Close door properly
Door is not hermetically-sealed Check the door seal and
clean or replace
Appliance switches itself
on and off
Room temperature is higher than
average.
Put the appliance in a cooler
place
The cabinet was recently replen-
ished with new bottles
Leave the appliance to work
for a while until the set tem-
perature has been reached.
Door was opened frequently Do not open the door more
often than necessary
Door was not closed properly Close door properly
Door is not hermetically-sealed Check the door seal and
