To secure the refrigerator door at the top automatically:
➤ Release and open the refrigerator door as shown (fig. 4, page 6).
✔ The refrigerator door is automatically secured at the top after closing (fig. 5,
page 6).
To secure the refrigerator door before starting to drive:
➤ Secure the refrigerator door as shown (fig. 6, page 7).
5.6 Using the VG fresh base

The slider in the VG fresh base can be used to regulate the humidity in the vegetable
compartment below it:
To remove and insert the VG fresh base:
➤ Proceed as shown (fig. 7, page 7).
5.7 Positioning the shelves

1. Remove the shelf as shown (fig. 8, page 8).
2. Refit the shelf in the reverse order.
NOTICE! Damage hazard
The maximum load capacity of the VG fresh base is 4.5 kg.

Low ➤ Open the slider.
WARNING! Risk of child entrapment
All shelves are fixed in place to prevent children from climbing into the
refrigerator.
• Only remove the shelves for cleaning purposes.
• Refit the shelves and secure them in place.
