Winter cover in automatic mode, gas operation

➤ Only install the winter cover (2) on the lower ventilation grille as shown in fig. 4,
page 4.
7.4 Operation at high ambient temperatures
At high outside temperatures in combination with high levels of humidity,
condensation may form on the freezer compartment frame.
RMD8xx6 only
The freezer compartment is fitted with a frame heater (12 Vg/3,5 W) to reduce
condensation on the frame of the freezer compartment.
The frame heater is switched on continuously in the following operating modes:
•
AC operation
•
DC operation while driving
7.5 Switching on the refrigerator
➤ Press the button for one second.
✓ The refrigerator starts with the last selected type of power and settings.
7.6 Switching off the refrigerator

➤ Press and hold the key for four seconds.
✓ The display goes off, a short beep sounds and the refrigerator is completely
switched off.
NOTICE!
Do not install the upper winter cover during gas operation. This pre-
vents heat from building up and the fumes from the refrigerator can be
extracted properly.
NOTICE!
• When operating with gas: Close the gas valve in the vehicle and the
gas supply at the gas cylinder.
• If you are not going to use the refrigerator for a longer period, set up
the winter setting (chapter “Positioning the refrigerator door in the
winter position” on page 31).
