10.2 Preparing maintenance work
!
➤ Open the generator cover (fig. 4 2, page 5).
➤ Switch the generator to no function with the main switch (fig. 4 1, page 5).
10.3 Finishing maintenance work
➤ Switch the generator to standby with the main switch (fig. 4 1, page 5).
➤ Close the generator cover (fig. 4 2, page 5).
Interval Inspection/maintenance
In the first month
or after 50 hours
➤ Change the oil (chapter “Changing the oil” on page 24).
Every 3 months or
every 50 hours
➤ Check and clean the air filter (chapter “Servicing the air filter” on
page 25).
Every 250 hours ➤ Change the oil (chapter “Changing the oil” on page 24).
➤ Clean the motor‘s cooling devices.
➤ Check the valves.
➤ Check if the screws are intact and firmly tightened.
Every 500 hours ➤ Replace the fuel filter (chapter “Changing the fuel filter” on
page 25).
➤ Replace the air filter (chapter “Servicing the air filter” on page 25).
Once a year
or every
1000 hours
➤ Clean the oil filter.
➤ Check the diesel oil supply lines.
The following must be carried out by a HATZ authorised retailer or
Dometic skilled personnel:
➤ Check the fuel injection pump.
➤ Check the vibration damper.
CAUTION!
Note the following for all maintenance work:
• The generator must not be running.
• All the parts must be cooled down.
