CONNECTING THE EXHAUST HOSE
Place the rectangular piece of the exhaust hose on the air outlet of the appliance.
Place the other end through a nearby window. Attention : the length of the hose must
be between 500mm and 2000mm.
When you place the exhaust hose on the appliance, try to keep the hose horizontally.
The height of the opening through which you guide the exhaust hose can vary from 40
cm up to 130 cm.
WATER DRAINAGE
When the airconditioner is working in the cool mode or dehumidication mode the
condensation water will be drained into the drip tank. When the tank is full this will be
indicated on the display en a buzzing sound will be heard. On the display is shown the
code “E4”. After three minutes the appliance will turn off.
Remove the water from the airco as follows :
- Place the water plate under the water drainage.
- Remove the rubber tting from the water drainage and let the water ow out.
- Place the rubber tting back on the water drainage.
- Empty the water plate.
PERMANENT WATER DRAINAGE
Press the drainage at the back of the unit until it points down. (for the position of the
drainage please check the drawing at the beginning of the booklet.) Make sure the
drainage is only pointing down when you want a permanent drainage. Otherwise the
drainage will leak.
Keep the drainage down and connect the drain tube.
When you want to remove the drain tube, take hold of the drainage to prevent damage.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Remove the plug from the socket before starting the maintenance.
Don’t use any cleaning products. Use a soft dry cloth.
Air lters :
When the lters are covered in dust, the appliance won’t function correctly anymore.
Clean the lters every 14 days. Never use the appliance without lters.
To remove dust, use a vacuum cleaner.
When the lters are very dirty, clean them in lukewarm water. The water cannot be
warmer than 40°C. Let the lters dry.
