Security settings
SIM lock
The SIM card is protected with a PIN code (Personal
Identication Number). On this phone there are 3
options to handle the function:
On - PIN cod activated, you need to enter the PIN
code every time the phone is started.
Off - PIN code deactivated.
Warning, if SIM card is lost/stolen it is unprotected.
Auto - You do not need to enter the PIN code
when the phone is started, the phone remembers
it automatically. If SIM card is moved to another
phone (lost/stolen), the PIN code needs to be
entered to unlock.
To set the PIN code options:
Press and hold
w
(on the side) >4 seconds.
Scroll to Security and press
q
.
Select SIM lock and press
q
.
Select On, Off or Auto and press
q
to enable or
disable SIM lock.
Note!
You need to input the current PIN code to activate/
deactivate SIM lock.
