The following external devices for information output can be connected to
the counter:
External display;
Receipt printer;
CCTV.
CONNECTION OF EXTERNAL DEVICES
The external display is connected by built-in cable to the connector for
external display (pos. 17 Fig. 2). The receipt printer or CCTV is connected by
the direct RS-232 cable (not supplied in delivery set) to DE9 connector (pos.
15 Fig. 2).
Before connecting external devices, the counter must be switched off. To
set the connection speed please follow the instructions given in paragraph
PRINT. The counter allows you to output information simultaneously to the
external display and receipt printer or to external display and CCTV.
MAINTENANCE
According to experience of the world vendors, we suggest calling the
technician for the professional maintenance every 90 days. If you use the
machine for more than one shift a day or the most of counted banknotes are
dirty and soiled, then more frequent maintenance is required.
On a daily basis:
1 Switch off the banknote counter if you do not use it.
2 Wipe the counter external parts with a dry clean lint-free tissue.
3 After work is completed and the counter is switched off, clean the sensors
from dust with a soft lint-free tissue or a soft brush. The sensors 1…10
shown in Fig. 4, Fig. 5, Fig. 6 and Fig. 7 should be cleaned. In case of
strong soiling, it is allowed to wipe the sensors with the lint-free tissue
moistened with alcohol.
WARNING: Before cleaning the sensors, make sure that counter is
switched off and the power cord is disconnected from the power
supply!

The counter won't turn on
Check the power cable is connected to AC mains
outlet and to AC mains connector in the rear cover
of the counter.

TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
The machine in the original package can be shipped by sea (in containers),
by railway (in closed carriage), by air (in the pressurized modules) and by
cargo (in covered truck or in container with water-resistant top) along the
paved roads. Transportation conditions: temperature from - 30 to + 50°C,
relative humidity up to 98% without water condensation at 25°C and
atmosphere pressure 84 to 107 kPa (630 to 800 mm Hg).
The machine in the original package can be stored in a heated and ventilated
warehouse, at the temperature of +5°C to +40°C and relative humidity not
exceeding 80% at +25°C. A warehouse should be free of the aggressive
agents (acid and alkali vapours) that might cause corrosion.

DORS authorizes the local distributors to provide after-sales technical
support to the customers. In case of machine's malfunctioning, please contact
your local supplier. If you fail to get support from your supplier, please inform us
at web site www.dors.com.
To avoid any misunderstanding, we ask you to read the terms and
conditions of the machine's operation, its transportation and storage, the
warranty conditions.
