At its core, the ES4300A Exit Alarm functions by continuously monitoring the position of a secured door. When a "forced entry" or unauthorized violation of the controlled door occurs, the unit immediately triggers a local audible alarm, providing an immediate and unmistakable alert to personnel in the vicinity. This local annunciation is a key feature for deterring unauthorized access and signaling a security breach. Beyond just an audible alert, the device also provides an alarm contact activation, which can be used to remotely annunciate the security violation.
