The PAVA9500 is an 8-zone amplifier host with main/backup switching functionality, designed for EN54-16 fire emergency broadcasting systems. The PAVA9500E is an 8-zone expansion amplifier with similar main/backup switching capabilities, designed to work in conjunction with the PAVA9500 host. Both units are 2U high and feature a high-end oxidized blackened aluminum alloy chassis with a frosted panel, providing a premium and high-class aesthetic.
Function Description:
The EN54-16 fire emergency broadcasting system offers manual operation and timing programming, with manual operations taking priority. It supports real-time monitoring of equipment status and recording of operating logs, adhering to the "EN54-16 Voice Alarm Control and Indicating Equipment" standard. This system is suitable for fire emergency broadcasting, daily service broadcasting, and background music broadcasting, making it ideal for small shopping malls, office buildings, and exhibition halls.
The PAVA9500 host is equipped with two built-in 500W digital power amplifiers for automatic switching and backup, as well as BGM broadcasting. It provides AB line speaker output for 8 zones, each with independent switch and volume control, master volume, and treble/bass adjustment, with an output of 500W per zone and a total power of no more than 500W for all 8 zones. The unit includes an 8-zone on/off function with individual and all-zone control buttons. It supports six external inputs, including two balanced microphone inputs and four balanced line inputs for fire audio and background music, plus one line output for external expansion or recording backup. A built-in audio source player supports MP3 and WAV formats.
Connectivity is robust, featuring dual bus RJ45 network ports and CAN bus transmission for cascading the host and expansion amplifiers in a hand-in-hand or looped configuration. A single expansion amplifier can be connected up to 600 meters away. The system can support up to 19 PAVA9500E expansion amplifiers for a total of 160 zones, or up to 30 PAVA9425E expansion amplifiers for a total of 128 zones.
The system supports automatic playback and timing functions for unattended operation, enabling timed fixed-point and fixed-area track playback. Four RJ45 network ports are available for paging microphones, supporting remote microphone paging and zone/group broadcasting, with connectivity for up to 8 units. It also features 8 trigger inputs (dry contact and level optional), 8 dry contact trigger outputs, and 8 24V override outputs.
Remote computer detection and control are supported, along with audio priority settings, operating records review, and impedance detection parameter settings. The system can detect speaker line faults (grounded, open circuit, short circuit) and system faults (expansion amplifier or microphone dropout). It supports both AC and DC24V power supplies, with automatic identification and switching, and AC as the primary power source. AC and DC power connection detection and warning functions are included. DIP settings allow for overall system monitoring, trigger mode configuration, host IP address selection, and host IP address reset. The system also supports fault detection, emergency output, and emergency reset input. A multi-function display shows device working status (working/fault/normal). An external SD card slot allows for expanding storage up to 32GB for external audios, recordings, logs, and built-in EVAC voices.
Monitoring and recording functions are integrated, along with timed programming for dry contacts to control power sequence controllers. The system supports simultaneous dual audio output, enabling remote paging for specific zones while background music plays in other zones without interruption. Emergency broadcasts always have the highest priority, followed by paging, with background music acting as a backup. The host's local handheld microphone supports single-track recording and loop playback.
Audio source priority levels are: Host EMC MIC > Fireman MIC > Host or Fireman MIC EVAC or ALERT Broadcasting > Fire Alarm Dry Contact Trigger > Remote Paging Microphone > Timed Point Broadcasting > Recording and Broadcasting Function of Handheld MIC on Host Panel > Local BGM Player = 1-6 External Inputs.
The PAVA9500E expansion host shares many features with the PAVA9500, including the chassis design, built-in 500W digital power amplifiers, AB line speaker output for 8 zones, 8-zone on/off function, and support for 6 external inputs and 1 line output. It also utilizes dual RJ45 network ports and CAN bus transmission for cascading. The PAVA9500E works with the PAVA9500 host to enable automatic playback, timing functions, remote microphone paging, and zone/group broadcasting. It includes 8 trigger inputs, 8 dry contact trigger outputs, and 8 24V override outputs. It supports remote computer detection and control, audio priority settings, operating records review, and impedance detection. Speaker line detection, AC and DC24V power supply, and connection detection are also present. The PAVA9500E has 5-digit DIP address settings, a multi-function display, and monitoring capabilities that work with the host for dry contact programming output. It supports simultaneous dual audio output and maintains the same priority levels as the host for emergency and paging broadcasts.
