The Dual LU44BTS is a portable Bluetooth speaker designed for versatile use in both indoor and outdoor environments. It features a weather-resistant design, making it suitable for various settings, though it is not intended for submersion in water.

Function Description:

The LU44BTS serves as a portable wireless speaker that connects to devices via Bluetooth. It allows users to stream music wirelessly and offers controls for volume adjustment, play/pause functionality, and power on/off. The speaker is designed to deliver accurate high-fidelity sound. It can be used as a standalone portable unit or permanently mounted in desired locations using the included wall hang hook and screw.

Usage Features:

• First Time Use & Charging: For initial use, the Li-ion battery should be charged for a minimum of 24 hours. Charging is done via a Micro USB port located on the back of the unit. The speaker can be charged directly from a laptop, computer, or phone USB charge adapter (500mA minimum required). An AC to USB charge adapter is not included. Battery level status is indicated by an LED: green for full, red for charging. iOS devices can display the approximate battery level on their phone status bar.
• Main Control Panel: The speaker features a main control panel with three buttons:
  • VOL - (1): Decreases volume.
  • ON/OFF + PLAY/PAUSE + BLUETOOTH/CHARGING LED STATUS (2): Powers the unit on/off, plays/pauses music, and indicates Bluetooth and charging status.
  • VOL + (3): Increases volume.
• Bluetooth Pairing:
  • To turn on the unit, long press button (2) for 3 seconds.
  • To initiate pairing, long press buttons (1) and (3) simultaneously for 3 seconds.
  • Turn on Bluetooth on your device (e.g., phone, tablet) and navigate to its settings menu.
  • Look for and tap on "LU44BTS" in the list of available devices.
  • Once paired, a confirmation tone will be heard, and streaming will be ready.
• Bluetooth LED Status:
  • Blue LED fast blinking: Bluetooth not paired.
  • Blue LED on: Bluetooth paired.
• Disconnecting/Clearing Paired Devices:
  • To disconnect a previously paired Bluetooth device, long press buttons (1) and (3) for 3 seconds.
  • To clear all previously paired Bluetooth devices, long press buttons (1) and (3) for 10 seconds.
• Streaming Music: Once paired, music can be streamed from the connected device. Volume levels will automatically sync with most iOS devices. Android devices may require additional setup in the Bluetooth settings menu.
• Automatic Power Off: To conserve battery, the LU44BTS will automatically power off after 9 minutes of non-use.
• Speaker Placement: The speaker is fully portable. For permanent placement, it can be mounted using the supplied wall-hook and screw. The silicon carry-strap is removable by untwisting the thumb screw. When hanging, the speaker should face the listening area for optimal audio. It is crucial not to mount the speaker on surfaces that can get wet or have concealed hazards like electrical wires or plumbing. Surfaces must be sturdy enough to support the speaker's weight to prevent falls or injury. Experimenting with various placements can significantly impact sound quality, as room acoustics play a role. Directing the tweeter toward ear level or angling the speaker toward the listening position often provides the most realistic imaging. Bass perception increases when the speaker is moved closer to solid intersecting room surfaces (walls, ceiling, floor).

Maintenance Features:

• Cleaning: Wash the speaker with a mild soap or detergent and lukewarm water using a clean sponge or a soft cloth. Rinse well with clean water.
• "Don'ts" - Very Important:
  • Do NOT clean in hot sun or on very hot days.
  • Do NOT use abrasive or highly alkaline cleaners on the main body.
  • Do NOT ever use acetone or carbon tetrachloride.
  • Never leave the product in direct sunlight, as overheating can cause permanent battery damage.
• Disposal: This product must not be disposed of with household waste. Users are responsible for disposing of electronic or electrical waste equipment at specified collection points for recycling. Proper recovery and recycling help conserve natural resources and ensure human health and environmental safety. Safety Information:

• The lightning flash symbol indicates the presence of un-isolated, dangerous voltage within the device.
• The exclamation point symbol alerts users to important operating and servicing instructions in the accompanying literature.
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove the cover or back plate, as there are no user-serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified personnel.
• The grille is not designed to be removed; attempting to remove it will damage the speaker and void the warranty.
• The Bluetooth antenna cannot be removed or replaced by the user.
• The equipment complies with FCC/IC radiation exposure limits for an uncontrolled environment and should be installed and operated with the radiator at least 20 cm or more away from a person's body (excluding extremities).
