Why does my DURASTAR DRA1U30S1A change to FAN mode?

  If your DURASTAR Heat Pump switches from COOL/HEAT to FAN mode, it could be for two reasons. First, the unit might be preventing frost from forming. In this case, wait for the temperature to rise, and it will go back to the previous mode. Second, the set temperature might have been reached, causing the compressor to turn off. If needed, adjust the set temperature.
