How to start a DUROMAX Water Pump engine that won't start?

  If your DUROMAX Water Pump engine won't start, first ensure the engine switch and fuel valve are set to “ON”. Check if the choke is closed. Make sure the fuel tank isn't empty and the fuel isn't old or contaminated; if it is, add fresh fuel. Inspect the spark plug; clean it if dirty, or replace it if broken. Confirm the engine is on a level surface. Finally, check the oil level and add or change the oil if needed.

  If your DUROMAX Water Pump engine starts but shuts off quickly, it might be due to a low oil level; add or change the oil. Old or contaminated fuel can also cause this issue, so replace the fuel. If the engine is on an incline exceeding 15°, disconnect the low oil sensor.
