How to start my DUROMAX Inverter if the engine won't turn on?

  If your DUROMAX Inverter engine won't start, there are several potential causes. First, ensure the engine switch is set to 'run' and the fuel valve is open. Check that the choke is closed. Also, verify that the generator has enough fuel, and if the fuel is old or contaminated, replace it. A dirty or broken spark plug can also prevent starting, so clean or replace it as needed. Make sure the generator is on a level surface and that the oil level is sufficient, adding or changing oil if necessary.

  If your DUROMAX Inverter runs but can't support all connected devices, it might be overloaded. Try disconnecting one or more items to reduce the load. Also, a malfunctioning device connected to the generator could be the issue, so disconnect any device that might be faulty. A dirty air cleaner can also cause this problem; clean or replace the air filter.

  If your DUROMAX Inverter engine runs but provides no electrical output, first check if the circuit breaker is turned 'off' and turn it 'on'. A bad wiring connection could also be the cause, so replace the extension cord(s). Finally, the device connected to the generator may be malfunctioning, so try disconnecting it.
