Installation Steps

Step 1: Prepare Vehicle

Insert key and press brake pedal to allow shift button depression.

Step 2: Remove Existing Shift Knob

Press button and pull shift handle up with force; consider first gear and pulling backward.

Step 3: Loosen Set Screw

Use a 2.5mm allen bit to back out the set screw about one full turn.

Step 4: Install New Shift Knob

Slide the new knob in place and tighten the set screw using the allen bit.

Step 5: Final Check

Check function of brake release/button to ensure proper engagement with the shift cable.
