Why does my Dyna-Glo DGH474CRN have excessive flare ups?
    • H
      hpachecoAug 12, 2025
Excessive flare-ups in your Dyna-Glo Burner can occur due to several reasons. Grease and residue build-up on the grill components requires cleaning. Marinade from food, especially from meat with high fat content, can also cause flare-ups; trim the fat from meat and use non-oil-based marinades. Finally, cooking at a temperature that is too high can lead to flare-ups, so lower the temperature accordingly.

What to do if my Dyna-Glo Burner will not light with a match?
    • L
      Linda ArnoldAug 19, 2025
If your Dyna-Glo Burner won't light with a match, make sure the match is reaching the burners by using the match holder found in the cabinet door. Also, check that the natural gas supply shutoff valve is open. A poor connection between the gas hose plug fitting and sleeve coupling could be the reason; turn off the grill knobs, close the gas supply shut-off valve and check, then disconnect and reconnect if needed. Lastly, a blocked burner inlet might be the issue; clean the burner inlet (venturi) and burner as described by the Care and Maintenance section in the manual.

How to fix no gas flow in my Dyna-Glo DGH474CRN?
    • J
      Joseph WeaverAug 27, 2025
If there is no gas flow or an obstructed gas flow in your Dyna-Glo Burner, first, ensure the gas supply shut-off valve is fully open. Second, check for a poor connection between the gas hose plug fitting and sleeve coupling. To do this, turn off the grill knobs, close the gas supply shut-off valve and check the connection between the plug and sleeve coupling. Disconnect and reconnect, if necessary. Finally, a blocked burner inlet may be the cause. Clean the burner inlet (venturi) and burner as described by the Care and Maintenance section in the manual.

Why Dyna-Glo Burner igniter not working?
    • N
      Nathan AyalaSep 3, 2025
If your Dyna-Glo Burner won't light using the igniter, it could be due to a few reasons. The igniter electrode may be covered with grease or residue, so clean the igniter electrode. Also, the igniter electrode may have a loose or disconnected wire; check the connection and reconnect any loose or disconnected wires. A cracked or broken ignition electrode can also cause this issue, in which case you should replace the ignition electrode (see Replacement Parts List).
