  If your Dyna-Glo Grill isn't heating up, first ensure the appliance is turned on and check for tripped circuit breakers, resetting them if needed. You may need to replace the controller or heating element.

  Your Dyna-Glo Grill's circuit breaker might be tripping or the fuse might be blowing because another appliance is plugged into the same circuit. Too many appliances use the same circuit. Moisture in the controller, cord, or outlet connections, a damaged cord, or a damaged electrical connection can also cause this. Try using a separate circuit, keep all connections dry, and check the cord for damage, replacing it if necessary. You might need to replace the controller.

  If your Dyna-Glo Grill isn't generating enough heat, preheat it for 15-20 minutes and increase the temperature settings. Ensure the lid is closed and use a cord rated for outdoor use at 15 amps. Add pellets to the hopper if it's empty. If the auger is jammed, remove internal cooking components, turn the unit on, set the temperature dial to "SMOKE", and inspect the auger. Contact Customer Service if the auger doesn't turn.

  If the temperature is flashing on your Dyna-Glo Grill control panel, it means the appliance temperature has fallen below 120F. The fire is at risk of going out. Check the hopper for obstructions, the fire pot for ash build-up (and clean it), and the internal temperature gauge/probe (and clean it). Ensure air flows through the fire pot and confirm the auger is rotating without blockages. Avoid frequently opening the lid.

What do the error codes on my Dyna-Glo Grill control panel mean (LEr, HEr, Er1, Er2)?

  LEr means the grill temperature fell below 120° for more than 20 minutes. HEr means the grill temperature is above 550°, possibly due to a grease fire. Er1 means the temperature probe isn't properly connected. Er2 is a temperature dial security alarm. For LEr, check for hopper obstructions and ash build-up. For HEr, turn to "Shut Down Cycle". For Er1, ensure the probe is connected. For Er2, use "Shut Down Cycle" and restart.
