Display hinges The display hinges allow the display panel to be
positioned at a variety of easy-to-view angles.
Power indicator The power indicator normally glows white when
the computer is turned on.
Power button
(integrated with
fingerprint sensor*)
Press this button to turn the computer's power on
or off.
On some models, the power button is integrated
with a fingerprint sensor which enables you to
enroll and sign in with a fingerprint in Windows
Hello. If your computer is integrated with the
fingerprint sensor and you have enrolled
fingerprints, you will be able to sign in to
Windows by pressing the power button directly.
Stereo speakers The speakers emit sound generated by your
software as well as audio alarms, such as low
battery condition, generated by the system.
Wireless
communication
antennas
Depending on the configuration of your
computer, one of the following antennas are built
in:
Wireless LAN/Bluetooth
®
Wireless WAN/Wireless LAN/Bluetooth
®
Do not cover the wireless communication antennas area with any metal
objects, otherwise the wireless function might not work.

Keyboard The keyboard contains character keys, control
keys, function keys, and special Windows keys,
providing all the functionality of a full-size
keyboard.

Touch Pad The Touch Pad located in the palm rest is used
to control the movement of the mouse pointer.
To use the Touch Pad, simply touch and move
your fingertip across it in the direction you want
the mouse pointer to go.
