Why does my Dynex TV only show static?

  If your Dynex TV shows only snow (noise) on the screen, try changing the channel. Make sure the antenna or cable TV is connected correctly and securely. If you are using an antenna, the digital channel signal may be low, so check the digital channel signal strength. If the signal strength is low, adjust the antenna or use a highly directional outdoor antenna or set-top antenna with a built-in amplifier.

Why are there dotted lines on my Dynex TV screen?

  If your Dynex TV displays dotted lines or stripes, ensure the antenna or cable TV is connected correctly. If using an antenna, check the digital channel signal strength. Adjust the antenna or use a highly directional outdoor antenna or set-top antenna with a built-in amplifier if the signal strength is low. Make sure the video cables are securely connected. Try a new set of video cables, as the current ones may be faulty. Other devices may be interfering with your TV, so turn off one device at a time to identify the source and move it further away.

  If your Dynex TV has one or more channels that do not display, make sure that the channels are not blocked. Also, make sure that the channels are not hidden. If you are using a cable or satellite box, use the remote that came with that box to change channels. Make sure that you have the correct input selected to view channels from the cable or satellite box. If you are using an antenna, the digital channel signal may be low.

  If your Dynex TV has no output from one of the speakers, adjust the audio balance. Make sure that the audio cables are connected correctly and securely to the back of your TV.
