WB2 RPM SETUP
This menu allows you to setup the WB2 RPM settings.
1 From the Main Menu, select Device Setup>WB2 RPM Setup.
2 Select RPM Multiplier to adjust the RPM multiplier used for the RPM input on the WB2. In order to acquire
an accurate tach signal reading, you will need to adjust this setting for your application. This setting is for
WB2 only.
3 Select RPM Smoothing to smooth the RPM input signal of the WB2. This setting is useful to stabilize or
dampen the RPM signal displayed on the WB2.
4 Select RPM Signal Filter to fi lter out invalid RPM signal inputs. This setting can be adjusted if you notice
the tach reading displayed on the WB2 is unstable, spiking, or otherwise inconsistent.
The following settings are useful for vehicles that have a CDI (capacitive discharge ignition) system.
5 Select RPM Rising Edge to measure the rising edge on the RPM voltage signal.
6 Select RPM Signal Attenuate: to make the RPM input signal smaller (less voltage) to fi lter out noise. This
setting is for WB2 only. This setting is either active or inactive.
7 Select RPM Signal Bias to bias the entire RPM signal input to a higher voltage. The ability to activate this
feature is only applied when “RPM Signal Attenuate” is active.
WB2 ANALOG SETUP
This menu allows you to name and confi gure the 0-5v analog input of the WB2.
1 From the Main Menu, select Device Setup>WB2 Analog Setup.
2 Measure your low and high voltages of this signal and input them accordingly.
DISPLAY SETUP
This menu allows you to adjust the brightness, contrast, and mode of the POD-300.
1 From the Main Menu, select Display Setup.
2 Select Contrast to adjust the screen contrast 0-100.
3 Select Brightness to adjust the brightness of the screen backlight 0-100. The backlight will only be visible
when the POD-300 has power from the vehicle.
4 Select Mode to fl ip the black and white mode of the screen.
USB MODE
Allows the POD-300 to be put into a PC link mode while the unit is connected to a running vehicle. This
allows you to pull the logs while the vehicle is running.
Select Main Menu>USB Mode.
