If necessary the soleplate rollers and axles
can be removed using a thin flat bladed
screwdriver.

Remove the two screws in the lower brushbar
motor cover.

Remove the five Philips screws in the
soleplate assembly.

Remove the lower brushbar motor cover
from the base of the brush housing.

If necessary the motor mounts can be
removed.

Remove the soleplate from the base of the
brush housing. The ropeseal can be replaced if
necessary.
