Do you have a question about the E.NEXT E.CONTROL.T08M and is the answer not in the manual?
The e.control.t08m electronic timer is designed for implementing time functions within control and automation systems, operating according to a user-defined time schedule. It complies with EN 60730-1 and EN 60730-2-7 standards.
The timer operates with a supply voltage of AC/DC 24-264V, consuming 1W of power. It tolerates a supply voltage deviation of ±10%. It features a single channel and can store up to 80 programs. Programming options include weekly and daily programs, with operation modes such as manual, automatic, and holiday. It also supports automatic changes for summer/winter time. The time accuracy is less than 1 second per day at 25°C, and it has a power reserve of 10 years, ensuring data retention during power outages.
Data is displayed on an LCD. The timer is equipped with one changeover (C/O) contact, rated for 16A (AC-1) and a switching capacity of 4000VA (AC-1). Its mechanical life is 10^6 cycles, and its electrical life is 10^5 cycles. The rated insulation voltage is 250V. It has an IP20 protection degree and a pollution degree of 3. It can operate at altitudes up to 2000m.
The ambient temperature range for operation is -20°C to +55°C, with a permissible relative humidity of less than 50% (at 40°C, without condensation). Storage temperature ranges from -30°C to +70°C. The timer accepts wire sizes from 1 to 4 mm² with a tightening torque of 0.5 Nm. Its dimensions are 90x36x64 mm.
For proper operation, the timer must be used in non-explosive environments, free from corrosive gases and vapors that could damage metals and insulation, and not exposed to conductive dust or vapors. It should also be protected from direct exposure to ultraviolet radiation and significant shock or vibration. Transportation and storage are only permitted in the original packaging.
The timer is designed for installation in a plastic or metal box on a standard 35mm DIN-rail, secured with two-position latches. Power supply connections are made to terminals A1 (L+) and A2 (N-). The output contact (terminal 18 - normally open, 16 - normally closed, 15 - common) is connected in series with the phase conductor of the load power or the power switching device of an actuator, such as a contactor coil.
Upon initial power-up or after a reset, the timer can be configured using the "▲▼" and "OK" buttons. This includes setting the language, date, and time.
To access the main menu, press the "MENU" key. Use the "▲▼" buttons to select the desired item. If there is no activity for 1 minute, the timer will automatically exit the menu.

Pressing the three keys simultaneously for 3 seconds will reset the device to factory settings. The device will be restored to factory settings. During this process, the output contact 18-15 will be closed. If the output states of other operation modes were changed, "MANUAL" mode exits automatically.
The device should only be installed, operated, and maintained by qualified personnel. Do not attempt to repair the device yourself; otherwise, no responsibility is assumed by the manufacturer or seller. Do not open or disassemble the device. Never use the product in environments with corrosive gases, strong sunlight, or rain.
The timer should be disposed of by transferring the product to a specialized enterprise for recycling in accordance with the requirements of the legislation in the territory of sale.
The average lifespan of the device is 5 years, subject to installation, operation, ambient conditions, transportation, and storage requirements. The warranty period is 1 year from the date of purchase, subject to the same conditions. The warranty does not cover products with mechanical damage, damage resulting from improper transportation, storage, assembly, or operation, or damage from independent, tampered, or repaired products. Non-compliance with these instructions invalidates the warranty. No modifications or alterations to the devices are permitted. For technical support during the warranty period, visit www.enext.com.
