This document is an owner's manual for the EAST OAK 4000W Electric Wall Mount Patio Heater, model WPH22002.

Function Description

The EAST OAK 4000W Electric Wall Mount Patio Heater is designed to provide maximum heat with 90% less light, creating an ambient and pleasurable outdoor experience. It utilizes ultra-low glare infrared technology for instant comfort. The heater is suitable for use in open bars, courtyards, plazas, and stations. It features remote control adjustability for convenience.

The heater operates with a heating level button on the unit and a remote control for various functions. The remote control allows users to turn the heater on/off, adjust heating levels (L1, L2, L3), and directly set the heater to the highest heating level. It also features separate controls for the left and right heating elements. When turned on, the patio heater has a soft start function, activating after 4 seconds and automatically switching to the last used heating level. For first-time use, it defaults to 100% power after 4 seconds. When switched off, the heater enters standby mode.

Usage Features

  • Installation: This heater must be installed by a certified electrician and adhere to all local, state, and national electrical codes. It is crucial to inspect all components for damage before installation. The heater head position can be adjusted, and the connecting pipe should be fixed at the bottom of the heater.
  • Safety Precautions:
    • The heater becomes extremely hot during use; avoid touching any part of it. Allow sufficient time for cooling before handling.
    • Keep all combustible items (furniture, pillows, bedding, paper, gas, paint, flammable liquids) at least 3 feet away from all sides of the heater.
    • Do not cover the heater to prevent overheating.
    • Do not operate if it malfunctions, has been dropped, or if any cords or plugs are damaged.
    • Ensure the cord is neatly placed away from high-traffic areas to prevent tripping.
    • Connect only to properly grounded outlets.
    • Do not run the cord under carpeting, rugs, furniture, or appliances.
    • Do not insert foreign objects into the ventilation system.
    • Do not block air intakes or exhausts with any items.
    • Do not use on soft surfaces like beds or clothes.
    • Do not place open flame sources on the appliance.
    • Only use as described in the manual; misuse may result in fire, shock, or injury.
    • Plug directly into a grounded outlet with protective connection; do not use with an extension cord or power strip.
    • Verify the voltage on the nameplate matches the outlet voltage.
    • The appliance should not be located immediately below a wall socket-outlet.
    • In case of emergency (shock or fire), turn off and unplug immediately. Do not attempt self-repair.

  • Child and Vulnerable Person Safety:
