CLEANING THE FILTER MATERIAL
Clean the Bio-Media by agitating it in the lter and draining o the dirty water. Be cautious of chlorinat-
ed water - it can kill benecial bacteria microbes. Clean the lter mats by spraying them o with a gar-
den hose. The mats are not intended to grow benecial bacteria so the chlorinated water is not an issue
while cleaning mats.
