sorgfältig zu lesen.
Note
Prior to installing the device, these operating in
structions
must be read carefully.
Anwendung
The Second Ear Piece Kit permits the connection of a
second ear piece to the weather-
resistant telephone
ResistTel.
The second ear piece enables another person to listen in
a telephone conversation.
Moreover it can be used to reduce considerable disturb-
ances due to ambient noise.
Verpackungsinhalt
Das Set besteht aus:
- Zweithörer mit dynamischer Hörkapsel und
Wendelschnur mit Kabelenden zum Anklemmen an
das ResistTel
- Kabelverschraubung (M20x1,5) IP66 zur Einführung
des Zweithörerkabels in das ResistTel Gehäuse
- Bügel und Schrauben zum Aufhängen des
Zweithörers
Packing Contents
The set consists of:
- Second ear piece with dynamic receiver inset and
spiral connecting cord with cable ends to connect
to the ResistTel.
- Cable gland (M20x1.5) IP66 to lead the connecting
cord into the ResistTel case
- Bracket and screws to hang up the second ear piece
leitung ResistTel). Somit muss, bei Verwendung des
Bügels, dieser zuerst befestigt werden. Danach kann die
Wandmontage des Telefons erfolgen.
Mounting and Connection
For the attachment of the bracket there are two built-
in
threaded bushings in the rear side of the ResistTel case.
The bracket has mating drill holes through which it can
be fastened by means of flat head screws (see operating
manual of the ResistTel). So if you wan
t to use the
bracket it has to be mounted first on to the rear side of
the ResistTel.
Afterwards the wall mounting of the telephone can take
place.
To connect the second ear piece remove one of the
sealing plugs to be found at the bottom part of the
ResistTel case and srew in the cable gland (M20x1.5 ;
IP66) completely.
Lead the cable end of the second ear piece through
the
cable gland, fasten the cord with the cable gland and
connect the wire ends to the terminals 7 and 8 in the
ResistTel.
Betrieb
ren. Mit dem Auflegen des ResistTel Telefonhörers wird
der Zweithörer abgeschaltet.
Operation
The second ear piece is active when you hook off the
handset of the telephone ResistTel
. The volume of the
second ear piece is changed with the volume of the
handset simultaneously. With the +/- keys of the Resist-
Tel you can change the volume for the actual conversa-
tion. If you want to change the volume of handset and
second ear piece perman
ently use the ResistTel menu
Settings / Handset Volume.
The second ear piece is switched off when you hook on
the handset of the ResistTel.

What to do if the Power LED is not lit on my Eaton Industrial Electrical?
    • G
      Garrett FullerAug 20, 2025
If the Power LED is not lit on your Eaton Industrial Electrical, you should first check the polarity and integrity of the trunk cable connections to the enclosure. Also, verify that the d.c. supply powering the incoming trunk is operating correctly.

What to do if alarms on my Eaton Security System remain on and cannot be reset?
    • N
      nwilliamsAug 25, 2025
If alarms are set to operate from normally closed contacts and the signal supply fuse blows, all alarms will operate as though an alarm has occurred. To resolve this, check the signal supply fuse F1 (rated at 125mA), located in the top right-hand corner of the unit when viewed from the rear, to see if it has blown. Also, ensure that the inputs have been correctly set to operate from either a normally open (N.O.) or normally closed (N.C.) configuration and haven't been accidentally inverted.

How to fix the audible alarms not sounding on my Eaton Security System?
    • J
      John SilvaAug 26, 2025
Each channel can be selected to operate either of the two integral horns / horn relays as required. Internal horns and horn relays are enabled by placing the following switches to the ON position on the SPR Card: HNA – SW5 - Position 5, HNB – SW5 - Position 6. Each pair of channels can be set to activate either of the audibles using the following switches located on each alarm module: Channel 1 & 2 HNA – SW4 Position 7 set to ON, HNB – SW4 Position 8 set to ON; Channel 3 & 4 HNA – SW6 Position 7 set to ON, HNB – SW6 Position 8 set to ON.
