Communications setup
Configuration of Ethernet communication
Device default IP Address (192.168.1.254)
Connect Cat 5, or better, Ethernet cable between product and PC.
ote: N Configuring Modbus and BACnet/IP communication settings can be
found in the Instruction Manual.
Changes to WindowsT PC Ethernet adapter settings for IPv4
1. Search for Change Adapter Settings in your Control Panel
Network Settings.
2. Right click on Local Area Connection.
3. Click on Properties.
4. Click on Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4).
5. Click on Properties.
6. On General Tab, select Use the Following IP Address:
a. Enter 192.168.1.10 for the IP Address
b. Enter 255.255.255.0 for the Subnet Mask
c. Enter 192.168.1.1 for Default Gateway
7. Click on OK button and then exit out of all these open windows.
ote: N Configuration of IPv4 was done with Windows 10 in this guide.
