Benutzerinformation
Bei diesem Gerät handelt es sich um ein Signalgerät speziell für den Betrieb
in rauer Industrieumgebung.
Nachstehende Warn- und Sicherheitshinweise sind zu beachten:
1. Das Gerät dient der Rufsignalisierung an analogen Telefonanschlüssen,
indem es optische und akustische Signale erzeugt. Es ist nicht zur
Verwendung in sicherheitsgerichteten Anwendungen vorgesehen.
2. Das Gerät ist in Schutzklasse I aufgebaut und darf nur an der
vorgeschriebenen Spannung angeschlossen und betrieben werden. Es ist
auf einen ordnungsgemäßen Anschluss zu achten. Die Anschlussleitung
ist so zu verlegen, dass keine Stolpergefahr besteht.
3. Der Betrieb ohne Potentialausgleich, auch bei Gleichstromversorgung,
ist unzulässig.
4. Das Gerät darf nur unter den angegebenen Umgebungsbedingungen
betrieben werden (siehe Kapitel “Technische Daten“). Widrige
Umgebungsbedingungen, wie z.B. zu hohe oder zu niedrige Umgebungs-
temperaturen sind nicht zulässig, weil dadurch der Ausfall elektronischer
Bauteile begünstigt wird.
5. Es ist darauf zu achten, dass das Gerät, die Anschlussleitung, usw. nicht
beschädigt sind. Im beschädigten Zustand ist das Betreiben des Gerätes
nicht zulässig.
6. Bei Betrieb des Gerätes sind die gesetzlichen und gewerblichen
Vorschriften, Unfallverhütungsvorschriften, sowie elektrische
Bestimmungen zu beachten.
7. Bei Reparaturen sind nur Originalersatzteile zulässig, die fachgerecht
gewechselt werden müssen. Andere Austauschteile können zu Schäden
führen und die Garantie entfällt. Bei Betrieb ohne Kalotte nicht für
längere Zeit in die Lampe blicken. Kann für die Augen schädlich sein! Das
Gerät entspricht der Risikogruppe 1 (Geringes Risiko) gemäß EN62471
8. Zum Öffnen des Gerätes muss es spannungsfrei geschaltet sein.
9. Im geöffneten Zustand darf kein Staub in das Gerät gelangen.
10. Die für die Dichtheit des Gehäuses notwendige Kalottendichtung
sowie der Kragen am Gehäuseunterteil dürfen bei der Montage und
Demontage nicht beschädigt werden.
11. Bei Instandsetzung des Betriebsmittels zum Einsatz in Staub sollten die
instandgesetzten Teile einer erneuten Stückprüfung unterzogen werden.
12. Änderungen des Produktes, die dem technischen Fortschritt dienen, sind
auch ohne vorherige Ankündigung möglich.

This device is a signalling device especially for use in hazardous industrial
environments.
The following warnings and safety instructions are to be considered:
1. The device serves for call signalling at analogue telephone connections
through producing optical and acoustic signals. It is not intended for use
in safety-related applications.
2. The device is constructed in protection class I and may only be connected
and operated at the prescribed voltage. A correct connection is to be
ensured. The connection line is to be installed in such a way that there is
no stumbling hazard.
3. Operating without potential equalisation is not permissible, even in the
case of direct current supply.
4. The device may only be operated under the ambient conditions indicated
(see chapter “Technical Data”). Adverse ambient conditions (e.g. too
high or too low an ambient temperature) are not permissible since these
encourage the failure of electronic components.
5. It is to be ensured that the device, the connection line etc. are not
damaged. If damaged, operating the device is not permissible.
6. When operating the device, the legal and commercial regulations, the
accident prevention regulations and the electrical codes are to be taken
into consideration.
7. When performing repairs, only original spare parts may be used,
and these must be exchanged in a technically correct manner. Other
replacement parts may lead to damage and to the warranty expiring. If
operating without a spherical cap, do not stare at the lamp for too long.
Doing so can seriously damage eyesight. The device corresponds to risk
group 1 (low risk) according to EN62471
8. Power to the device must be switched off before it is opened.
9. When opened, no dust must get into the device.
10. The spherical cap seal necessary for the tightness of the housing as
well as the collar at the lower part of the housing may not be damaged
during assembly and disassembly.
11. When reconditioning the equipment for use in dust, the reconditioned
parts should undergo another routine check test.
12. Changes to the product which serve for technical advancement may be
made without being announced beforehand.
