Machine maintenance & cleaning
Cleaning detergent drawer & recessed
compartment
(Recommended to be completed as and when required)
1. To remove the detergent drawer simply press the release
button and pull out the drawer.
2. Remove the grey softener cover by releasing the two clips
at the rear of the drawer.
3. Wash all parts under running water. For stubborn dirt/
mould use a small soft brush.
4. Use a small soft brush to clean inside the detergent
drawer recessed channel.
5. To reassemble; locate the grey softener cover and push
down, make sure the 2 clips engage.
6. Insert detergent drawer back into the machine.
Basic maintenance of your washing machine can improve it’s cleaning performance and prolong it’s life.
Cleaning external surfaces
(Recommended to be completed as and when required)
Using a damp soft cloth, gently wipe all external surfaces to remove any dirt or dust build up.
N.B: A non-abrasive household detergent cleaner can be used. Immediately wipe o any spills with a damp
cloth.
Cleaning door seals
(Recommended to be completed as and when required)
1. Using a damp cloth, gently wipe around the inside rubber
door seal.
2. Gently lift back the gasket and remove any dirt, black
mould or debris lying inside the rubber seal gasket.
3. Check the rubber gasket is free from any tears or splits.
N.B: Doing this regularly will reduce the build up of black
mould.
