Allumer/éteindre l‘appareil
u Pour allumer l’appareil, appuyer sur
la touche »ON/HOLD«.
Aprčs quelques secondes (test interne)
l’appareil est pręt ŕ mesurer et montre
déjŕ le pH actuel.
En haut, ŕ gauche de l’écran apparaît
un petit symbole de batterie, qui montre
l’état de chargement de la batterie de
l’appareil (voir page 32).
u Pour éteindre l’appareil, appuyez longt-
emps (pendant plusieurs secondes) sur
la touche »ON/HOLD«, jusqu’ŕ ce que
„OFF“ apparaisse sur l’écran.
Si l’on oublie d’éteindre l’appareil, il
s’éteint – si il n’a pas été programmé
autrement (voir page 18) – automatique-

Turning the device on/off
u To turn the device on, press the »ON/
HOLD« key.
After a few seconds (self-test) the de-
vice is ready to take measurements and
already displays the current pH value.
A small battery symbol that shows the
remaining charge in the device battery
(see page 32) appears at the top left of
the display.
u To turn the device off, press the »ON/
HOLD« key until „OFF“ appears on the
display (several seconds).
If you forget to turn off the device it will
turn off automatically – provided this
setting has not been modified (see page
18) – after two hours of operation to con-
serve the battery.
