4. If tachometer is available, turn idle speed (A) clockwise until a
speed of 2500-3400 RPM is achieved and engine idles without
stalling.
High Speed Adjustment
NOTE
Engine must be at normal operating temperature.
1. Turn the (HI) adjustment screw (C) counter clockwise 1-1/4 turn.
2. While running the engine at full throttle, turn the (HI) adjustment
screw (C) slowly clockwise until the engine runs smoothly.
3. Turn the screw counter clockwise 1/8 turn to obtain optimum fuel
mixture for full power under load conditions.
NOTE
Check engine acceleration from idle to full throttle. If engine
hesitates, turn LO speed screw (B) 1/16 to 1/8 of turn counter
clockwise.
