      If your Echo Trimmer engine cranks but starts hard or doesn't start at all, it could be due to several reasons. The fuel strainer or fuel line might be clogged (clean or replace them). The fuel mixture might be too rich (open the choke, clean or replace the air filter, adjust the carburetor). There might be no spark (turn the switch to ON). The spark plug gap might be incorrect, covered with carbon, fouled with fuel, or defective (adjust to .65mm (0.026 in.), clean or replace, clean or replace, replace plug). For carburetor-related issues or if the cause is not mentioned, consult your Echo dealer.

      If your Echo Trimmer engine runs but dies or doesn't accelerate properly, the possible causes include a dirty air filter (clean or replace it), contaminants or residues in the fuel (replace the fuel tank and clean or replace the fuel line), a dirty or worn spark plug (clean and adjust or replace it), improper carburetor adjustment (adjust it), excessive dirt or debris on the engine (clean it), or normal wear of components (replace them).
