Why is my Echo SRM - 340 engine cranking but hard to start or not starting at all?

  If your Echo Trimmer's engine is cranking but having trouble starting, it could be due to several reasons. The fuel strainer or fuel line might be clogged, or there could be an issue with the carburetor. Try cleaning or replacing the fuel strainer or fuel line. Also, the fuel mixture might be too rich; in that case, open the choke, clean or replace the air filter, or adjust the carburetor. If there's no spark, ensure the switch is turned ON. Finally, check the spark plug; if the spark gap is incorrect, adjust it to .65mm (0.026 in.), or clean or replace the plug if it's covered with carbon or fouled with fuel.
