OPERATION
- Provide all operators of this equipment with the Operator's Manual
and instructions for safe operation.
- Before starting the unit, equip yourself and any other person
working within the 15M (50 ft.) Safety Zone with the required
Protective Equipment and clothing.
- During operation, the complete unit, especially the engine and the
gear housing may become very hot, too hot to touch. Avoid
contact during and immediately after operation.
- Do not operate this product indoors or in inadequately ventilated
areas.
STARTING COLD ENGINE
WARNING DANGER
The tines should not move at idle. If tines move, readjust carbure-
tor according to "Carburetor Adjustment" instructions in this
manual or see your ECHO Dealer, otherwise serious personal injury
may result.
1. STOP SWITCH - START.
Move Stop Switch (A) to START position.
2. CLOSE CHOKE - COLD START.
Move choke (B) to START (closed) position. Throttle must remain
at idle for starting.
3. PRIMER - PUMP BULB.
Pump primer bulb (C) 10 times, until fuel is visible in the “Clear”
fuel return line.
