    • X
      xwagnerAug 1, 2025
If your Echo Tiller's engine cranks but doesn't start, several factors could be at play. It might be due to a clogged fuel strainer or fuel line, or an issue with the carburetor, in which case you should clean or replace the indicated part. Also, the fuel mixture could be too rich, so you can try opening the choke, cleaning or replacing the air filter, or adjusting the carburetor. If the stop switch is off, turn it on. Check the spark plug: if the spark gap is incorrect, adjust it to 0.65mm (0.026in.); if it's covered with carbon or fouled with fuel, clean or replace it; if the plug is defective, replace it.

      Benjamin WilsonAug 10, 2025
If your Echo Tiller runs but dies or doesn't accelerate properly, it could be due to several reasons. Normal wear of components might be the cause, in which case you should clean or replace them. Contaminants or residues in the fuel can also cause this issue, so replace the fuel and clean or replace the components. Improper adjustment can also be the culprit, so adjust accordingly. If you've been operating in dirty or dusty locations, clean the affected parts.
