Function Description

Usage Features

Operating Modes: The unit supports COOL, FAN, DRY, and AUTO modes. Some models also include HEAT mode.
Temperature Adjustment: Users can adjust temperature settings in 1°C/2°F (or 1°F) increments within a range of 17°C/62°F to 30°C/88°F (or 86°F). The control panel can display temperature in Fahrenheit or Celsius, convertible by pressing and holding the Up and Down buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.
Fan Speed: In COOL, HEAT, and AUTO modes, the unit operates the fan speed automatically. In FAN mode, users can choose the fan speed via the remote controller. In DRY mode, the fan operates at LOW speed and cannot be adjusted. WATER DRAINAGE: The unit has a bottom tray that collects water. When full (P1 protection code), it beeps and stops air conditioning/dehumidification. Users must drain the collected water via a drain hose. Continuous drainage is possible by connecting a drain hose to the lower drain plug.
Installation: The manual provides detailed instructions for two types of installation: Hung Window or Sliding Window Installation and Wall Installation. It includes a list of accessories such as unit adaptor, exhaust hose, window slider adaptors, foam seals, security bracket, and drain hose.

Maintenance Features

Safety Precautions: Emphasizes unplugging before cleaning, avoiding flammable liquids, not washing under running water, and not operating with a damaged power cord.
Air Filter Cleaning: The air filter should be cleaned every 2 weeks for optimal performance. Operating without a filter can lead to clogging and reduced performance.
Unit Cleaning: The unit should be cleaned with a damp, lint-free cloth and mild detergent, then dried with a dry, lint-free cloth. Harsh cleansers, wax, or polish should be avoided.
Storage: Before storing, the unit's water collection tray must be drained, and the appliance should run on FAN mode for 12 hours in a warm room to dry it and prevent mold. The air filter should be cleaned and reinstalled, and batteries removed from the remote control. The unit should be stored in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight or extreme heat.
