If the set temperature is lower than the current room temperature, increase the set temperature. Also, the heater may shut off if the room temperature reaches the thermostat setting; this is normal, and it will restart when the room cools. Finally, a safety device might have been activated to prevent overheating. In this case, place the heater upright, check for obstructions, turn it off, unplug it, wait 10 minutes, remove any obstructions, and restart it. If the problem persists, have it checked by an authorized service person.
