Place the Z-Wave controller into inclusion mode first.
Insert the battery to activate the sensor's inclusion mode.
Flip the sensor to verify it transmits open/closed status.
Choose a mounting location on the top section of a multi-panel garage door.
Mount the sensor with the arrow pointing UP using adhesive tape or screws.
Apply adhesive tape to a clean, dry surface for mounting the bracket.
Use screws for thicker garage doors, marking holes with a pencil and drilling.
