What to do if my ECX BARRAGE does not operate?
    • J
      Jacob GeorgeAug 17, 2025
If your ECX Toy does not operate, there are several potential causes. First, the transmitter batteries might be low, so replace or recharge them. Second, the transmitter or ESC could be powered off, so power them on. Third, the vehicle battery might need replacing or recharging. Finally, the dual-rate (D/R) steering and/or throttle knobs on the transmitter might be turned to zero, so adjust them to 10.

      Andrew CampbellAug 22, 2025
If your ECX Toy has sluggish action, the motor might be dirty, so check and clean it. There could also be a bind in the drivetrain, so clean or adjust it. Additionally, the vehicle battery may not be charged, so replace or recharge it.

Why the system of my ECX Toy will not connect?
    • W
      Wendy DeleonAug 26, 2025
If the system of your ECX Toy will not connect, it might be that the transmitter and receiver are too near each other; move the transmitter 3.3–9.8ft (1–3m) from the receiver. Alternatively, the transmitter and receiver could be too near large metal objects (vehicles, etc.), so move away from them. Another cause might be that the throttle trim is out of center on the transmitter, so set the throttle trim on the transmitter to zero, and turn off and on the transmitter and vehicle. Finally, the receiver might have been accidentally put in bind mode, so rebind the transmitter and receiver.

Why is there a clicking noise in the transmission area of my ECX BARRAGE?
    • J
      jeffrey30Sep 8, 2025
If there is a clicking noise in the transmission area of your ECX Toy, it could be caused by dirt or rocks in the spur gear; remove the gear cover and inspect, replacing the gear if necessary. Another cause might be that the motor moved away from the spur gear, so reset the gear mesh.

Why does my ECX Toy move without input?
    • A
      andersonkevinSep 12, 2025
If your ECX Toy moves forward or backward without input, the throttle trim on the transmitter might not be centered. Adjust the throttle trim to set the neutral point.
