      william99Aug 14, 2025
If your ECX Motorized Toy Car has a poor range, the transmitter batteries may be low, so try replacing or recharging them. Another cause could be a damaged receiver antenna, which you should check, repair, or replace if necessary.

What to do if the system of my ECX Motorized Toy Car will not connect?
    • D
      Daniel MarshallAug 17, 2025
If the system of your ECX Motorized Toy Car won't connect, the transmitter and receiver might be too close to each other; move the transmitter 3.3–9.8ft (1–3m) from the receiver. Alternatively, they could be too close to large metal objects, so move away from vehicles or similar items. Ensure the throttle trim on the transmitter is set to zero, then turn off and on both the transmitter and vehicle. Lastly, the receiver might have accidentally entered bind mode, so rebind the transmitter and receiver.

      vburkeAug 20, 2025
If the receiver of your ECX Motorized Toy Car stops responding during operation, it could be due to low battery voltage. Completely recharge the battery. Another possibility is loose or damaged wires or connectors between the battery and receiver. Inspect these wires and connections, and repair or replace them as needed.

If you hear a clicking noise in the transmission area of your ECX Motorized Toy Car, there might be dirt or rocks in the spur gear. Remove the gear cover and inspect it; replace the gear if necessary. Alternatively, the motor might have moved away from the spur gear, so reset the gear mesh.
