  If your EdgeStar Air Conditioner isn't working, there are several potential reasons. First, ensure the unit is properly plugged into a grounded outlet. Check the LCDI power cord and press the Reset button if it's tripped. Insufficient power could also be the cause, so try moving the unit to another outlet and check your circuit breaker. A full water reservoir can also prevent operation; drain the unit and restart it. If none of the indicator lights turn on, the control panel might be disconnected, in which case you should contact customer service.

Why is my EdgeStar AP13500G Air Conditioner not cooling at all?

  If your EdgeStar Air Conditioner isn't cooling, make sure it's set to cooling mode and that the set temperature is low enough. The compressor may take up to 3 minutes to turn on, or even longer if the ambient temperature is too warm. Ensure the room temperature is below 90°F. Also, check if the filter is dusty or blocked and clean it if necessary. Finally, ensure that the exhaust port isn't blocked by any obstructions.
