Connect your PC to the Edimax Access Point using an RJ-45 cable for initial setup.
Navigate to the System Utility section within the Access Point's web interface.
Update the Access Point's IP address to a unique value, such as 192.168.2.2.
Set the ESSID and Channel, selecting 'Station Infrastructures' and 'Site Survey'.
Identify and select the wireless router that provides internet access from the survey results.
Confirm the chosen router and apply the settings, initiating a system restart.
Connect the Access Point to the target device as illustrated in the connection diagram.
