Overview

This document provides a comprehensive user manual for the eeese Aircondition Nora, model Art. 2525, a portable air conditioning unit designed for indoor use in private homes. The manual covers safety instructions, parts lists, operational guidelines, maintenance, troubleshooting, technical specifications, and information on using the "Tuya Smart" app for remote control.

Function Description

The eeese Aircondition Nora is a versatile portable air conditioning unit capable of cooling, dehumidifying, and acting as an air blower. It is designed to provide comfort in indoor environments by regulating temperature and humidity. The unit operates with a low fan speed by default in cooling mode and offers adjustable fan speeds (low and high) for both cooling and air blowing functions. The dehumidification function helps reduce excess moisture in the air. A sleep mode is available, which switches the unit to a low fan speed for quieter operation during rest. The airflow spreader function ensures an even distribution of air throughout the room. The unit also features an automatic on/off timer function, allowing users to schedule its operation.

Usage Features

The Nora air conditioner can be operated via a control panel on the unit or a remote control. The control panel includes buttons for airflow spreading, timer, fan speed, up/down adjustments, feature selection (mode), sleep mode, and power on/off, as well as a Wi-Fi button. The display window shows current settings and status. The remote control offers similar functionalities, including display window, on/off, timer, airflow distribution, timer setting, feature selection, fan speed, temperature unit selection (Fahrenheit/Celsius), and sleep mode.

Before operation, the unit must be placed upright on a stable, level surface, at least 50 cm away from walls and furniture. The power supply voltage must match the unit's specifications, and the socket must be grounded. For cooling, the exhaust pipe must be properly assembled and attached to the unit and extended to a window. The exhaust pipe should be between 280-1500 mm in length and should not be replaced or extended with other pipes to ensure proper function.

The unit can be turned on by pressing the power button, defaulting to cooling with low fan speed. The timer function allows scheduling automatic on/off times within a 00-24 hour range. A 3-minute delay occurs before the compressor starts to protect the unit and prolong its lifespan. A sensor on the back ventilation stops the unit if it gets too cold during dehumidification or cooling, restarting automatically when a safe temperature is reached (above 17 °C for dehumidification).

The unit also supports Wi-Fi connectivity through the "Tuya Smart" app (available for Android 4.1+ and iOS 8.0+). To activate Wi-Fi, press and hold the Wi-Fi button until the indicator blinks, then follow the app's instructions to connect. The app allows remote control of the unit's functions.

Maintenance Features

Regular maintenance is crucial for optimal performance and longevity. Drainage: The unit offers two drainage methods: manual and continuous.

  • Manual drainage: When the water tank is full, the unit stops dehumidifying, and the water tank indicator lights up. To drain, turn off the unit, move it to a drain, unscrew the lid, remove the stopper from the bottom drain, and tilt the unit to empty any remaining water.
  • Continuous drainage: Ensure the unit is off, then install a drain hose (10 mm inner diameter) to the continuous drain outlet. It is essential to ensure the hose has a downward slope and is not blocked or kinked.

Cleaning: The air filter should be cleaned at least every two weeks, or more frequently if the unit is used regularly.

  • Turn off and unplug the unit before cleaning.
  • Clean the cabinet with a soft, dry cloth. For heavy dirt, use a mild detergent and a slightly damp cloth. Avoid spraying water directly on the unit.
  • Remove the filters and clean them with a vacuum cleaner or soapy water (not warmer than 40 °C).
  • Rinse and thoroughly dry the filter before reattaching it to the unit.

Storage: If the unit will not be used for an extended period:

  • Unplug the unit and empty the water tank, ensuring it is completely dry (may take a few days).
  • Clean the air filter.
  • Verify the unit is in perfect condition for safe future use.
  • Store the unit in its original packaging in a dust-free place, away from direct sunlight. Covering it with plastic is recommended.

The manual emphasizes several safety warnings, including:

  • The unit is for indoor, private home use only.
