Driving your scooter
Safety check before use
When driving your eFOLDi, choose a route with good road condi-
tions. The eFOLDi is designed to drive on smooth even surfaces.
Unevenly paved roads or paths, potholes and other hazards will
reduce the life of any scooter and may aect your safety. Do not
drive on steep roads or excessively cambered roads. The amount
of charge remaining in the battery immediately before commenc-
ing any slope upward will be crucial to the climbing ability. Any
deviation from level/horizontal surfaces should not exceed a gra-
dient of 1:6 (9.5 degrees). For any climbing there are many factors
that need to be considered these are: the tyre pressure and con-
dition, the surface condition (if wet, icy or slippery, and this in-
cludes leaf cover and/or other debris, we advise against driving
the slope), battery charge and the weight of the user, all of these
will aect performance.
