REMOVING THE BLADES
WARNING:
Always protect your hands by wearing heavy gloves or wrapping
the cutting edges with rags or other materials when performing any maintenance on
the mower blades. Always remove the battery pack when servicing or transporting the
mower.
NOTICE: The following tools (not included) are required for replacement of the blades:

9/16” (14 mm) or adjustable wrench (impact wrench with 9/16” socket is
recommended);
◾
11/16” (17 mm) or adjustable wrench (impact wrench with 11/16” socket is
recommended).
◾
Torque wrench with 9/16” (14mm) and 11/16” (17mm) sockets;
◾
Manual screwdriver or metal rod with a diameter of 5/16” (8 mm).
◾
Manual screwdriver or metal rod with a diameter of 1/4” (6.35 mm).
1. Stop the motor; remove the battery
pack from the mower.
2. Turn the mower on its side.
3. Wear protective gloves. Insert a
manual screwdriver or metal rod,
Ø5/16” (8 mm) or slightly less in the
stabilizer hole. This will prevent the
blades from rotating while loosening
the bolt/nuts (Fig. 1).
4. Use a 11/16” (17mm) wrench to
loosen and remove the two 11/16”
“Blade Set” nuts (Fig. 2). SAVE THE
TWO NUTS FOR LATER BLADES
REASSEMBLY.
